Numerous shots were fired at the goal, forcing the Heckington goalkeeper to make a number of great saves.

This pressure continued and Connor M ran with the ball down the left wing, crossing it and scoring. 1-0.

Heckington continued to apply the pressure on Church Lane, forcing Thomas to make two amazing saves. This did not deter Church Lane who showed great determination. A shot from Scott was saved by the Heckington keeper, but Kaci was on her toes and able to slot the ball into the back of the net. 2-0.

The second half started much like the first, with Heckington dominated. A lengthy goal kick from the Heckington keeper, had to be tipped over the bar by Thomas in goal! Church Lane continued to pass the ball well and created a number of chances, Scott was extremely unlucky not to score. Another amazing goal kick from Heckington was aimed straight at goal, Clayton was able to clear it, unfortunately straight into the path of a Heckington striker, who slotted it into the back of the net with ease.
