Summer Term 2025

We have a had a lovely first week back. We have enjoyed exploring our new equipment in the outside area. We really enjoyed our visit to Bowthorpe Farm. The children thoroughly enjoyed stroking the lambs and learning about the farm animals. We are looking forward to Rand Farm Park on Monday!

In Literacy, we have started to read our new story, Jack and the Jelly Bean Stalk.’ We are looking forward to trying some jelly beans next week.

In Maths, we have been practising our careful counting to 20 and beyond.

On Wednesday, we also received our eggs. We have put them in the incubator and we are waiting patiently for the chicks to hatch over the next few weeks. We will keep you posted!

How can you help at home?

• Please read at least 3 times a week and record on Boom Reader.

• Please borrow books from our Lending Library (outside) to share with your child and log on Boom Reader.

 Life skills

• Help your child to learn to wipe their own bottom

• Help your child to get dressed/undressed independently

• Help your child to fasten the zip on their coat

•Help your child to use a knife and fork safely

Encourage your child to brush their teeth twice a day
