From March 8th 2021 - return to school after lock down.

Below is the overarching best fit curriculum we will be working to this term during any home learning. A new timetable will be published weekly for any children who are isolating or unable to attend school.


Phonics speed sounds:
9am – 9.30am
RWI Speed sound Links will be uploaded as online lessons become available.

9.30am – 10am
Children can use this time to access maths activities on Mathletics.

Maths:
10.00 - 10.45am - live on Google classroom daily.
Maths lessons will be live on Google classroom each day. We will initially be learning measurement – money. Then multiplication and division. Finally, statistics.

10.45- 11.15am break time.
11.15-11.30am Children can use this time to rehearse weekly spellings - find the spellings for your group on google classroom.

English:
11.30 - 12.15am - live on Google classroom daily.
Initially this half term we will be completing work based on the text ‘The Journey Home’ by Frann- Preston- Gannon. Next, we will be reading the book 'The House Held Up by Trees' by  Ted Kooser. Finally, The Bear Under the Stairs by Helen Cooper. 


12.15- 1.15pm lunch time.

Reading:
1.15 – 1.45pm
Reading bug club books will be uploaded to Google classroom. Please submit the associated comprehension work to be marked.
Children can also access individual reading books through Oxford Owl.

In Geography we will be thinking about locational knowledge and how we can investigate places (with a focus on the UK).

We will be drawing botanical illustrations, painting using tints and tones, making flower prints and creating a garden collage scene.See google classroom.
