Spring Term 2026

16th March

We finished our learning on the Greeks and learnt all about the Olympics. We couldn't believe that it only began with a few events and women weren't allowed to take part. We created some wonderful art work about the modern day olympics.

9th March

We have been learning all about the Greek Gods this week. They were very interesting and Mrs Jones was shocked at how much we knew! In PE we have enjoyed practicing our gymnastice performances.

2nd March

In English we have continued our Plague writing. The children have been brilliant at getting into character and there have been some brilliant dramatic performances on display.

23rd February

In Maths we have been getting stuck into fractions. We have been super in our learning and confident in explaining and reasoning..

9th February

This week we began our learning on the Plague. The children have been so excited to research on our experience days and learn all about the sypmtoms. In Geography we have enjoyed map work.

2nd February

We continued our learning on the Greeks and how democracy compares to how we live today. We have been also been doing amazing on our Maths and spotting new number relationships.

26th January

This week we did an amazing job on our big writes. We enjoyed turning them into books.

19th January

In English we are coming to the end of our chotting on 'The Whale.' We have tried so hard to deepen the moments and have produced some fantastic work.

12th January

We had a wonderful week this week and learnt some exciting things. We began our learning on The Ancient Greeks and Mrs Jones was super impressed on how much we could infer from other civilisations to help us on our introduction to the Greeks. In PE we are enjoying dance and put together the intitial steps for our traditional Greek dance.

5th January

Welcome back and we home you had a resful break. This week we hit the ground running in both Maths and English. In Maths we continued out learning on multiplication and division. Mrs Jones was really roud of the effort from the children. In Englsih we began our unit on 'The Whale'.
