We continued our learning of decimals and moved onto comaparing and ordering. In History we learnt about how the Roman Empire expanded and the reasons for doing so. It was very interesting and we used our knowledge from our Roman day to help us.

Another bank holiday to start our week. We have began our new English topic which is a narrative based on the book Float. We began with an experience day where we got to build paper boats. We had to use the instructions on how to build them to pinpoint imperative verbs. We also created a sound storm to help us in our next sentence stacking lesson.
WC 28.4.35
How exciting was the start to this week? We absolutely loved our OFSTED treat to Rand Farm Park. One of our favourite activities was feeding the lambs but we also enjoyed the freedom of running aroud the adventure playground. In Science we began our learning on sound and how we hear. Mrs Jones was very impressed with some of our illustrative work showing how sound travels to our ears.
WC 22.4.25.
This week we enjoyed learning a dance routine in PE ready for our Dance Lobo sessions on Wednesdays. It was quite tricky! We also began our Badminton sessions in PE. In Geography we began learning all about Southern Italy and some of the many famous landmarks. Mrs Jones has also been very impressed on our Decimal understanding in Maths.
