This week we have focused on our drama, oracy and singing by beginning to practice THE PLAY! We look forward to seeing you at 6.00 on the 15th July for our performance.
8.6.26 - 12.6.26
This week we have been exploring neo-impressionism in art lessons. Looking at famous art in this style by Georges Seurat before creating our own neo-impressionism inspired pointilism pieces.
1.6.26 - 5.6.26
This week we have continued exploring History by looking at the birth of the British Empire. We have also been looking at natural resources in geography.
18.5.26 - 22.5.26
This week we have completed our geography unit on biomes and protecting the environment. We have also looked at Islam in RE and explored the last Tudor monarchs in our monarchy History unit.
11.5.26 - 15.5.26
SATs week already! The children did themselves proud and took the standardised tests with enthusiasm and dedication.
We have covered Evolution through natural selection and fossil records during Science this week as well as exploring the revolution caused by Henry VIII divorcing Catherine of Aragon during History. Our Geography focused on damage to biomes and how these biomes are being protected.
5.5.26 - 8.5.26
A short week as it was bank holiday! We explored more Maths reasoning and problem solving questions as well as expanding our narrative journey work and creating our final pieces. We have practiced and explored the new spelling curriculum too.
27.4.26 - 1.5.26
This week we have been exploring reasoning and problem solving in our Maths sessions and looking at how to use punctuationa and grammar for English. We have also been continuing our narrative journey work.
On Friday we had a dress down day for the school pantry.
20.4.26 - 24.4.26
This week we have explored translation and co-ordinates for Maths. In English we have looked at how to create a journey narrative.
Dance-Lobo have begun our PE lessons on a Monday this half term and we explored grasslands in Geography before celebrating Holi on Friday.
